The Merc SS23 campaign features vocalist/guitarist Mathew (@mathewcartlidge_), bassist/vocalist Isabelle (@issey_carts) & drummer Ice (@ice_dob_) from the explosive London-based teenage band The Molotovs (@themolotovs), alongside none other than Merc's very own resident blogger and ace face Mr. Richie Kyle (@mrrichiekyle) posing as band manager.

Photographer Derek D'Souza (https://www.derekdsouzaphotography.com/,@derek.dsouza) shot the band at the historic pub and music venue The Half Moon in Putney (@halfmoonputney), that has, since the early 1960s, hosted such iconic artists as The Who, The Rolling Stones, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Costello, Kate Bush, Kasabian and David Bowie, to name just a few. 

The Half Moon provided the perfect backdrop for Derek to shoot the band as they arrived at the venue with their gear, met with their manager for a setlist discussion, changed in the dressing room and then took to the stage to sound-check, rehearse and perform.

Merc loves the youthful, energetic and raw sound of this extremely talented and hard-working young band and of course their incredible sense of style. The band has already played over 200 live gigs (including a few at The Half Moon) and has a rocking bright future ahead.
