It’s that time again for another dose of Merc’s Summer sessions. This week Merc are happy to announce the return of The Draytones to their flagship store on Carnaby Street; it all kicks off from 6pm this Friday. After seeing these guys perform prior, I highly recommend you check out the Draytones this Friday night.

When the swinging sixties hit Carnaby street, it was the youth market that made it. People from all over the UK came to study in the capital and the art pack found Carnaby street; creating their own individual style & reinventing classic looks, their influence rocked London.

The Merc Autumn Winter 2010 collection draws its inspiration from the creatives of this time. The range includes classic Merc shirting, cool outerwear, knitwear to last and casuals to compliment.

Merc are happy to announce the sponsoring of a festival with two bands on tour - The Blows and Dirty Socks.

O Marisquiño has grown to becoming in a reference of skateboard, BMX, MTB Down Town, FMX, B-boying, parkour & tricks, art and music.

The dates the the event is running from are 5th, 6st, 7th and 8th of August 2010.

it takes place at port of Vigo (Northwest Spain).

Music Programme.
Welcoming concert with Public Enemy on 5th August at 22:00pm.
Dirty Socks, The Blows and Ramiroquai on 6th August at 21:30pm.
Roty 340 and Fat Fish on 7th August at 22:00pm
Grandmaster Flash and focuz on 8th August at 22:00pm.

O Marisquiño Skateboard street contest
Categories: amateur, Pro.
Prize money: 1st place (2000 euros), 2nd place (1000 euros), 3rd place (500 euros).

Queimada BMX street contest:
Categories: expert, master, Pro.
Prize money: 1st place (2000 euros), 2nd place (1000 euros), 3rd place (500 euros).

MTB Down Town:
Categories: mens, womens.
Prize money: 1st place (1000 euros), 2nd place (500 euros), 3rd place (250 euros).

B-boying:
Judges: Teknyc (NYC), Marcio (Paris), Focus (Finland).
Categorie: 3X3.
Prize money: 1st place (1000 euros), 2nd place (500 euros).

Other activities: freestyle motocross, parkour, art.
