The Draytones Live in Store

It’s that time again for another dose of Merc’s Summer sessions. This week Merc are happy to announce the return of The Draytones to their flagship store on Carnaby Street; it all kicks off from 6pm this Friday.  After seeing these guys perform prior, I highly recommend you check out the Draytones this Friday night.

Merc in storeThe Merc live sessions 2010 continue this Friday the 25th of June at 6pm, number 10 Carnaby Street.

Taking the stage this week are a band Known as Oh! Gunquit. They are that rare breed of band that make you want to dance, just as they have barely begun to play. Tribal tom toms beat wildly, fingers snap, guitars twang while high-spirited vocals bawl and purr across each song with attitude.

Krakatoa have had created huge industry interest so it was great to have them in store.

Summer of love music festival

50th AnniversaryHead on down to the Summer of Love Music Festival in Carnaby on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June. This is a free event which features a stage for up and coming as well as established musical artists.  Bands and DJs will also perform in some stores including the Merc flagship store, there will also be some live dance performances throughout the streets of Carnaby. The event is part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of Carnaby Street which has been the forefront of cutting edge fashion. Check out the times below to see what is on and when it takes place.
